Beyonce Knowles has revealed she broke down in tears after a visit with struggling drug rehabilitated women in New York.
She was at the rehabilitation centre to research her role as Etta James, a jazz blues Grammy award winning artist who most of her life battled through drug addiction.
Beyonce said, ‘…I was terrified. I never tried drugs in my life so I didn’t know about it all…It was hard to go to rehab. I learned a lot about life and myself.’
Beyonce Knowles‘ visit to the Brooklyn drop-in centre not only brought the star to tears but also left the six women, who had lost everything to drugs, in tears and feeling fragile.
